Dundee Science Centre – “Gone Smishing” serious game installation (October 2023).
Invited speaker at Aberdeen Science Centre as part of Science Week and their new computing exhibit. Talk title: “The Internet of Things and the Future of Computing” (February 2023).

Invited speaker for a Meet the Expert talk, Skills Development Scotland (SDS) - Cyber Skills Programme (February 2019).

Invited speaker at the Cyber Security Christmas Lectures in 2018 (Dundee). Gave a presentation entitled “How the Black Hat (Hackers) Stole Christmas”, featuring a demonstration of an IoT child’s toy, and a discussion on open-source intelligence.
Invited panellist at the launch of Cherwell's European R&D centre in Dundee (July 2018). The panel discussed how to attract talent to Dundee, and how to retain graduates. Other panellists included the CEO of Waracle, the MSP for Dundee City East, and Cherwell's VP of Engineering.
Invited keynote speaker at the Aberdeenshire GamesCon 2018 Final (RGU, Aberdeen, June 2018). Gave a speech entitled “From Computer Geek to Cyber Security Researcher” discussing the journey from school to PhD.

Invited speaker at the SICSA Cyber Security Christmas Lectures in 2016 (Inverness and Dundee). Gave a presentation entitled “A Fridge Full Of Spam”.

Provided a demonstration at the “Women in Security: protecting ourselves, protecting our world” event at Abertay University in 2013, illustrating the dangers of revealing too much information online.

Speaker at the SICSA Cyber Security Christmas Lectures from 2012-2014. Delivered talks to school pupils about social engineering and the danger of geolocation data shared in tweets.
